Heartsaver CPR AED combines online learning with hands-on CPR skills practice to ensure competency. Students complete the online portion of the course at their own pace, anytime and anywhere they have internet access. Students then attend a hands-on skills session (between 6-7 p.m.) with an AHA Instructor to ensure CPR and AED skills competence. Skills sessions will be held at 205 Bridge Street Suffield CT 06078. You will receive an email with your scheduled time from the instructor.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Note: Registration must be made at least one (1) week in advance of the scheduled Practice & Training Session to ensure ample time to complete the online portion of the course. Individuals may not pay for the session at the door.
Our mission at the SVAA is, first and foremost, to provide life saving treatment and transportation of the ill and injured to the appropriate hospitals. In addition, we provide comfort to friends and family of the sick and/or injured, educate our community members in matters relating to medical emergencies, and medical support to our public safety partners in the community and region.
