The Honor Guard was formed in 2002, with members training in formal military marching technique. The Honor Guard has marched in every town parade since it inception, including the Memorial Day Parade, the Firefighters Parade, the 911 Memorial Ceremony, along with the Rocky Hill 75 Anniversary Parade honoring their emergency services. At this final function, the SVAA Honor Guard was awarded a trophy for the 1st runner-up as Best Looking Uniform. |
