The Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association is a volunteer organization. We are not funded as a Town department. Your donations make a large impact to the residents we serve. Donations are used to purchase medical supplies, fund equipment acquisitions and provide the critical training needed for our EMTs and Paramedics. Your donations to the SVAA are tax exempt. We are classified as a 501(c)(3) organization.

The Suffield Board of Trustees serves as a sub-committee of the Associations Board of Directors. The Board of Trustees functions as the fundraising arm of the organization and works on projects aimed at bringing in community donations to support the Association’s financial needs. As an independent non-profit association, we receive limited funding from the Town of Suffield and rely upon the revenue generated from billed transports and the gratuity of the community through donations.
