The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR AED combine online learning with hands-on CPR skills practice to ensure competency. Students complete the online portion of the course at their own pace, anytime and anywhere they have internet access. Students then attend a hands-on skills session (between 6-7 p.m.) with an AHA Instructor to ensure CPR and AED skills competence. Skills sessions will be held at 205 Bridge Street Suffield CT 06078. You will receive an email with your scheduled time from the instructor.
This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Students who successfully complete the class will receive a American Heart Association completion card.
Enrollment fee includes your CPR card and online access to a student manual.

Our mission at the SVAA is, first and foremost, to provide life saving treatment and transportation of the ill and injured to the appropriate hospitals. In addition, we provide comfort to friends and family of the sick and/or injured, educate our community members in matters relating to medical emergencies, and medical support to our public safety partners in the community and region.
