This class will prepare you to take the national registry written and practical EMT tests. The course will begin May 13, 2024.
The course will be an IN PERSON initial EMT course held Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association EMT course will begin May 13, 2024. The course will be an IN PERSON initial EMT course. Course work will be completed in-person, every Monday and Thursday from 6-10pm., as well as every Saturday from 8am-4:30pm.
The cost of the course is $1,000.00 which includes all textbooks and classroom materials, as well as AHA BLS CPR Certification. Payment in full must be received prior to the first class. Payment plans are available by contacting the office at 860-668-3881 or via email at svaa@suffieldems.org
You will be eligible to take the National Registry EMT practical and written exam upon completion of this class as long as your grade is 70 or better on the final exam and you have passed all 6 practical stations.
CPR is mandatory, even if you are currently certified.
