This class will prepare you to take the national registry written and practical EMT tests. You will receive a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope and textbook.

The course will be a hybrid model initial EMT course. Course work will be completed on-line with in person skill sessions held every Thursday. All classes are held at the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Zak Center at 205 Bridge Street, Suffield, CT, 06078. Our mission at the SVAA is, first and foremost, to provide life saving treatment and transportation of the ill and injured to the appropriate hospitals. In addition, we provide comfort to friends and family of the sick and/or injured, educate our community members in matters relating to medical emergencies, and medical support to our public safety partners in the community and region.
