About Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association

The Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association was founded in 1976 and has experienced continued growth over the last 47 years.

We are a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is focused on providing quality emergency ambulance service to the Town of Suffield and the surrounding communities. The Association is comprised of 100 members, including 83 providers of which 65 are dedicated volunteers who annually contribute close to 20,000 hours covering ambulance shifts.

In addition to the staffing of our ambulances, our providers also provide community outreach activities and training including Initial EMT courses, CPR training, Stop the Bleed training, and much more.
