We are incredibly proud to bring a new and amazing innovation to our service thanks to our new friends at Hinckley Medical! Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association is the first service on the East Coast to utilize the OneWeight – OneDose system. All of our stretchers are now outfitted with the OneWeight system that provides an instant and accurate patient weight and imports it into the OneDose app that has been completely customized with our agencies protocols and the medications and equipment we carry. This new technology will allow our providers to have instant access to the appropriate dosing of medications down to the exact mL without having to rely on estimated weights which has been proven to often be inaccurate. The app also serves as instant access to our patient care protocols, reference documents, checklists including post cardiac arrest care and sepsis screening, policies and procedures and much, much, more all stored in one convenient location for our providers.
