The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR AED combine online learning with hands-on CPR skills practice to ensure competency. Students complete the online portion of the course at their own pace, anytime and anywhere they have internet access. This training may take as many as 3-5 hours so please plan accordingly. Students then attend a hands-on skills session (5:30 p.m.) with an AHA Instructor to ensure CPR and AED skills competence. Skills sessions will be held at 205 Bridge Street Suffield CT 06078. You will receive an email with your scheduled time from the instructor.
This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Students who successfully complete the class will receive a American Heart Association completion card.
Enrollment fee includes your CPR card and online access to a student manual.
Note: Registration must be made at least one (1) week in advance of the scheduled Practice & Training Session to ensure ample time to complete the online portion of the course.
